The Office of Interpreting Services coordinates interpreting services for ongoing classes, tutorials, advising sessions, meetings, co-curricular activities and any programs or services provided by the College. Computer Aided Real Time Captioning (CART) is provided as requested. All Northern Essex interpreters are professionals who are certified by the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, or who have passed a state quality assurance screening. Approval of services through Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Office is required prior to delivery of services.

Renewal of services is required each semester. This applies to all credit and non-credit courses as well as ongoing campus activities and events.
