Library Services for Distance Learning
Students taking distance courses at NECC can register for a library card and PIN by going to the Library link on their BlackBoard course page. You can also select “Request a Library Card” on the library’s home page.
Go to the Library website and you will see a searchbox under “Find Books.” Enter your search terms and you are on your way!
After you have found the book in the catalog, click the request button near the top of the screen. You will be asked for your library card number, your PIN, and a pickup location.
The checkout period for NECC is three weeks, and you can renew a book twice, for a total of nine weeks, unless another patron has requested the book.
