FAQ

How do I update my web site?

E-mail web content developer with a request. Please include the URL of the page to be edited and the specific description of the edit. We will reply by e-mail when the updated has been completed.

How do I send the URL?

To send a link from internet explorer, Go the the toolbar,
Select "File", then "send link by e-mail". Or cut and paste the url from the browser toolbar into your email. (ex. http://www.necc.mass.edu/)

When I print from Internet Explorer (IE) the right side of the page is clipped off.

This is a common problem with IE. To work around it when in IE select "file" from the toolbar, then "page setup" and check the box beside "landscape" the "OK". This will set your printer to print a landscape, or sideways view. Or try Firefox as your browser.

I can't find the ______ page?

If you have trouble locating a specific page, try starting at the “QuickLinks” menu. This menu is located on all pages and includes many of the most popular areas of the NECC web site. Or use the search function.

I'm having trouble searching for information.

Narrow the search by including an exact word or phrase. If you are searching for a phrase, include quotation marks. If you are still having trouble, please contact the web developer.

Why does a page open in a new window?

If you have left the NECC web site, opened a .pdf file, word document, movie or other document, it will open it in a new browser window.

I don't have Adobe Reader, where can I download it?

If you cannot view a .pdf file, adobe reader can be downloaded here , or anywhere in the site where you see the “get adobe reader” icon. Download Adobe Reader to view PDF's

I would like a web site for my department/program/self?
