Library Hosts Forum for Immigrants Interested in Higher Ed

Lawrence Attorney Zoila Gomez, a 1997 graduate of Northern Essex Community College, will be available to answer questions at a forum at the Lawrence Public Library on March 30.

Immigrants interested in learning how they can continue their education are invited to attend a forum on at the Lawrence Public Library, 51 Lawrence St., on Wednesday, March 30 at 6:30 p.m.

Sponsored by Northern Essex Community College, college admissions representatives will share how it’s possible to enroll at Northern Essex including information on college costs and financial aid.

Immigration Attorney Zoila Gomez, who is a graduate of Northern Essex, will be available to answer questions regarding the immigration process.

“Northern Essex is committed to expanding access to higher education to immigrants from our region,” said Dr. Noemi Custodia-Lora, executive director of the Lawrence Campus and Community Relations.
