A Health & Wellness Fair will be held Monday, March 5, at Northern Essex Community College from 9 a.m. to noon in the lobby of the Spurk Building on the Haverhill campus, 100 Elliott St.

The fair will showcase NECC’s many health care programs. In addition, attendees can get answers to health topics, such as sleeplessness, concussions, dealing with stress, and homelessness, or have their blood pressure checked, learn about good nutrition, how oral health is related to overall health and how to get the most from physical activity by measuring exercise intensity.

This event is free and open to the public. Everyone attending is eligible for free raffles, but must be present to win. Students and faculty from NECC’s health programs, including iHealth@NECC, will be available to discuss each academic health program as well as health issues related to that program’s topic.

“This fair is open to anyone who may be considering a career in health care as well as anyone with an interest in medical topics,” said Linda Comeau, associate director of iHealth recruitment and admissions.
