There is still time to enroll for the fall semester at Northern Essex Community College, beginning Wednesday September 5, for both full-time and part-time students studying in class and online.

Not sure whether NECC is right for you?

Information sessions and tours are ongoing throughout the months of July and August, on weekdays and weekends.

With campuses located in both Haverhill and Lawrence MA, Northern Essex Community College offers over 60 associate degree and certificate programs as well as noncredit courses. Engineering, criminal justice, health, business and computer science are some of NECC’s most popular programs.

Nearly 8,000 students are enrolled in credit programs and another 2,600 take noncredit, workforce development and community education classes on campus, and at business and community sites across the Merrimack Valley.

If you’re interested in earning a bachelor’s degree, starting at NECC helps students save thousands of dollars while still earning the same degree as their peers who began at four-year colleges and universities.

Transfer agreements such as the MassTransfer Pathway will ensure a smooth transfer process from NECC to the four-year college or university of your choice. NECC has over 100 transfer agreements with public and private colleges and universities locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Those who obtain a 2.0 GPA or higher may earn guaranteed transfer of credits to state colleges and universities through MassTransfer pathways.

Courses are offered in class and online, days, nights, and weekends. For a complete list of programs visit the website.

Attend an information session, take a tour, or talk with an academic advisor to get started. Visit our events calendar to sign up online for information sessions and tours.
