This computer-aided design software is used across various engineering disciplines such as architectural, civil, and mechanical. This course is designed for the individual who has little or no drafting/CAD skills or to the more experienced CAD user looking to brush up on the current release. Concentration on fundamentals through advanced concepts such as; environment, set-up, edit, draw, block, layouts, layers and design center. This course primarily focuses on 2D applications, but a basic theory on 3D will be covered. Familiarity with Windows operating system for file management is optional. Open lab time will be available.
