Avoiding Publishing Pitfalls
There are many good options for writers to publish their works. There are also many "sharks in the waters" including editors who charge thousands to polish a manuscript that can't be published; agents who charge unethical fees; publishing vanity presses and print-on-demand (POD) houses which effectively destroy books by overpricing them. This course will take a hard look at the pubishing industry and explore how to navigate your way through the process and avoid the pitfalls. One hour break for lunch on your own or bring bag lunch.
