Home Inspection Certificate Program
These non-credit courses are designed to introduce you to the growing field of Home Inspection. They will help you to prepare for the National Home Inspector Examination that is required for licensing as a Home Inspector in Massachusetts as well as many other states throughout the country. These courses are also helpful for first time buyers, honeowners, property managers, real estate investors, contractors and anyone else who wants to understand how a house works from the ground up.
The seven core courses must be successfully completed in order to earn the Home Inspector Preparation Program Certificate of Completion. You are also welcome to just take those courses of interest for personal or professional development. Please note: If you are preparing for licensing in Home Inspection, completion of Home Inspection Overview is now required before other courses may be taken in the program. Most course topics will be offered several times a year, however, completion of all seven core courses will typically take 12 months. This program was developed based on the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) Training Curriculum and is also a National Association of Certified Home Inspector (NACHI) approved curriculum.
