Guitar & Fiddle Concert
Dolores Bourque and Marty Kriegsman have a very different show for you. The talent that you will experiencee in the room will be happy and carefree. Dolores on Fiddle and Marty on Guitar will present for you a different sound with their duet. Both of them were in our fall 2008 talent show and many of you wanted more of them and at L.L.L. we aim to please.

Fourth of July Party
LLL will be hosting a fourth of July celebration at 11:00am along with Bethany Community and Haverhill C.O.A. This is a community event and entertainment and lunch will be served. The Dynamic Duo of Paul Gosselin and Barbara Skofield returns to celebrate summer on the right note. You will warm to nostalgic songs, funny jokes, good stories and a traditional sing-a-long. Bring your summer smiling faces and a friend!

Over the Hill Band
Their back! Mickey Locke – lead singer, Charlie Locke - lead guitar melody, Leo Buchikas - base player, Al Miller - Harmonica, and John Cavanaugh guitar rhythm will entertain you with music and song. It started over 40 years ago when the gang just got together to fool around playing some music. Then along came Mickey to make the band complete with her beautiful vocals.

Maniac Mike Keenan
Maniac Mike is on a mission to win hearts, minds, and a lot of laughs. His material is drawn from everyday situations and obscured news, which are blended with his unique storytelling ability and original music. In October, 2008, Maniac Mike had his coming out on “The Jerry Springer Show,” performing “Till Jerry Wins an Emmy”. The Maniac’s latest CD is entitled “Geriatric Hip Hop.”

Comedy Masque
Bob Gregory along with a group of Haverhill area seniors will be here to entertain us with a song filled afternoon. There will be group singing, a solo, a duet, and of course a sing-a-long.

An Afternoon of Accordion and Song
Let’s have some fun! Sing, dance or just listen to the songs you know and love. You will hear songs from waltzes to polkas, swing to rhumbas, and Dixieland to good old country western. So come on down and let Dave Caponigro entertain you.

Enjoy the life and times of the “Bad Boy” actor of the early 20th century, John Barrymore portrayed by Richard Clark. Have a rollicking good time as he takes us down memory lane to the era of the roaring 20’s and 30’s. This play is a charming concoction of comedy and pathos as Barrymore struts what’s left of his “stuff”

“The Great Conflagration of February 17, 1882” A Documentary film produced by Jay Cleary about the great fire that destroyed the Haverhill Shoe District which was rebuilt in one year.

Memories in Music
From his childhood days in Lynn, when singing was just a hobby, Brian Corcoran has shared his talents with many, traveling throughout the U.S., Canada and even Ireland to spread his music. Corcoran sings, plays the guitar, and shares stories about his family and growing up as one of 15 children. Show includes classics from the 30’s and 40’s with which most are familiar.

Larry Lee Lewis is a piano player, singer and comedian, mixing Henny Youngman, Milton Berle, Rodney Dangerfield style comedy with 1950’s -60’s classic signature American roots songs of Little Richard, Fats Domino, Elvis and Jerry Lewis, backed by his “Jerry Lee style” boogie woogie rockabilly piano. He has co - hosted many radio shows, finally getting his own show major Boston radio station WWZN 1510 “the zone.”

Robb comes to us from Salem NH where he has produced and directed various variety shows. Today he will be sharing songs from the 40's thru the 80's. This will include various standards of pop and show tunes that you have come to know and love over the years.

Scott Andrews, pianist and vocal performer will take us on a time travel of music. We will begin with the 1890's Ragtime, then into early jazz, Big Band, Country and finally pop. We will be traveling right through the American culture of music. Join us for a very exciting musical afternoon of entertainment.

Nashua Senior Center Tappers
LLL is attempting to bring to our program the various senior tap dancers. For our treat today they come to us from Nashua, NH and beyond. They are a group of dancers that range in ages 60’s – 70’s. This particular group has been together for approximately two years being taught by Rosemarie Thuotte.

Holiday Gathering
This annual program has become a Life Long Learning tradition which has rapidly grown in number…LARGE numbers. Along with a luncheon and a sing-a-long, we have the Bodacious Babes.
Tickets will be going on sale in September for $7.00 per person.
