Birdwatching at Veasey Park is excellent the Fall. You will learn to observe, identify and appreciate birds during this outdoor field class. “New birders” will learn about special characteristics of birds, their behavior, vocalizations, and their habitat preference. Observe birds at this productive birdwatching site and focus on observation skills and bird identification techniques. We will be walking over gentle terrain at a slow pace. Wear sturdy shoes, dress for weather and bring snack/ beverage. If students have binoculars & a bird field guide book, they are welcome to bring them. Limit 10.
