FACULTY BIOs:

Gail Feigenbaum, B.A. Simmons College; M.Ed. Tufts University
Program Coordinator

Gail Feigenbaum began teaching at NECC in September 1986, after completing graduate study at the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study at Tufts University and working as a preschool director in Medford, MA for two years.

In her 20 years at NECC, she has been involved in many aspects of developing and delivering the ECE curriculum. She enjoys working directly with the students in classes and supervising student-teachers in practicum placements.

Ms. Feigenbaum states, "It is especially gratifying to watch the growth and development of individuals during their time at NECC, from the early stages of learning the basics in an introductory class to ultimately defining their teaching philosophy and demonstrating effective skills in a final practicum setting. I also have the pleasure of working with some graduates of the ECE program who have gone on to teach in local schools and then supervise NECC students assigned to practicum placements."
