Becoming an ECE Student
Early Childhood Education is an open-enrollment program. Individuals with high school diplomas or GEDs are encouraged to apply.
Early Childhood Education Admission Process:
1. Apply to the college and
2.
Complete assessment in reading, writing and math
Additionally, students interested in Early Childhood Education may be required to undergo a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and/or Sex Offender Record Information (SORI) check.
Students are encouraged to contact the Academic Advising Center and the NECC Assessment Center prior to enrolling in the ECE Program.
Transfer Possibilities
This program is transferable to both private and public colleges and universities and meets the Massachusetts Education Transfer Compact. This program also qualifies for transfer under the state's Joint Admissions Program, as well as through Articulation Agreements (transfer agreements).
