LIBERAL ARTS:
Philosophy Option
The associate in arts degree option in
Philosophy offers students the opportunity to sharpen critical
thinking
and analytical skills useful whether students plan to transfer
to a four year institution as a philosophy major or to branch
out into law, education, public service, religion, or business.
Philosophy exposes students to a wide range of ideas and viewpoints
and improves their ability to reason and understand complex
issues. A minimum of 62 credit hours required for graduation.
