MEDICAL CODING
CERTIFICATE
No New Students Being Accepted
The certificate program in Coding has been
designed for entry-level positions. Courses include medical
language, anatomy and physiology and fundamentals of the disease
process, as well as those which are coding specific. Upon completion
of the program, graduates may apply a variety of healthcare
settings with flexible hours and a challenging workload. Credits
in this program are fully applicable to the associate degree
in Health Information Technology Program. 27 credit hours are
required for graduation.
