Student Email Account Setup for Mobile Phones

Android

Please note: You need to have setup your Office 365 student email account prior to setting up the email on your phone.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts > Add Account
  2. Choose Email (if unavailable, choose Corporate)
  3. Fill in your email and password
  4. Click next and select Exchange
  5. Now fill in the information requested:
    • Domain\Username: eight-digit myNECC ID@student.necc.edu
    • Password: user’s password
    • Server: m.outlook.com
  6. Click Next
  7. You must accept the administration security settings in order to send and receive emails

You should now be connected to your Student Email Account.


Blackberry

Please note: You need to have setup your Office 365 student email account prior to setting up the email on your phone.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Setup > Email > Internet Email Account
  2. Pick other
  3. Now fill in the information requested:
    • Email address: eight-digit myNECC ID@student.necc.edu
    • Password: user’s password
  4. Continue

You should now be connected to your Student Email Account.


iPhone

Please note: You need to have setup your Office 365 student email account prior to setting up the email on your phone.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  2. Under Accounts, choose Add Account
  3. Choose Exchange
  4. Now fill in the information requested:
    • Email: eight-digit myNECC ID@student.necc.edu
    • Domain: leave this blank
    • Username: eight-digit myNECC ID@student.necc.edu
    • Password: user’s password
  5. Click Next
  6. Server Name: m.outlook.com
  7. You must accept the Security Certificate in order to send and receive emails

You should now be connected to your Student Email Account.
