Massachusetts Department of Public Health Immunization Requirements for College Entry
- Hepatitis B
3 Doses - MMR
2 Doses - Tdap
1 Dose - Varicella
2 Doses
College immunization requirements apply to:
- all full-time undergraduate students
- all full-time and part-time health science students
- any full-time or part-time student attending a post secondary institution while on a student or other visa, including foreign students attending or visiting classes as part of a formal academic visitation exchange program.
Please note:
Proof of immunity by laboratory titer is also acceptable for measles, mumps, rubella, Hepatitis B, and varicella.

(Note to Health Profession Students: In addition to meeting the State’s immunization requirements, students accepted in a Health Profession Program will need to provide additional health/immunization documentation required by their particular program. Please work directly with the Division of Health Professions Office for these additional program requirements.)
