Arbour Counseling Services
Arbour Counseling Services offers a full range of programs and clinical specialties that include individual, couple, family, and group counseling for all ages, emergency assessments during times of crisis, evaluation and treatment of anxiety, depression and stress-related issues. Treatment can also include individual plans developed in close collaboration with patients’ and referrers’ goals and needs. Primary therapists work to coordinate all treatment issues and to maintain communication with other involved professionals. Brickett’s Mill Counseling Associates, Inc.

The Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BRACC)
The Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC) is a national leader in providing comprehensive, free services including a 24-hour hotline, 24-hour medical advocacy, individual and group counseling, and legal advocacy. We also provide community awareness and prevention services through partnerships and training with organizations and communities. BARCC assists thousands of sexual violence survivors and their families, friends and communities each year, regardless of sex, gender identity, race, physical/developmental disabilities, income, ethnicity, class, religion, or sexual orientation. With the help of their professional staff and more than 100 dedicated volunteers, they serve 29 cities from offices in Cambridge and Boston and community sites in Chelsea and Dorchester. They provide services in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and French, with other languages available upon request.

Center for Eating Disorder Management
The Center for Eating Disorders Management has been providing specialized outpatient treatment for eating disorders since 1988. CEDM now treats persons considering Bariatric Surgery and children and adults with a wide range of disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and Severe Obesity. The Center’s multidisciplinary outpatient treatment consists of a team of nurse practitioners, psychotherapists and registered dieticians. They provide specialized medical, psychological and nutritional assessments and treatment using a holistic approach. It is their belief that the key to success lie in early detection and intervention and they are pleased to offer a caring supportive environment to clients and their families as they work towards good health.

Center for Family Development (COSI Counseling Center)
The COSI staff provides services to children, adolescents, adults and elders, which include diagnostic evaluations, psychiatric assessments, case consultation, 24 hour emergency coverage, psychological testing as well as individual, family, and group counseling. COSI operates as multi-disciplinary teams at each site, with both child and adult board certified psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse clinicians heading up the medical staff, along with psychologists, clinical social workers, licensed mental health counselors, and Master’s Level clinicians. MEDA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating. MEDA’s mission is to prevent the continuing spread of eating disorders through educational awareness and early detection. The Merrimack Valley Catholic Charities is an extension of the Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of Boston. They offered a variety of programs in Lawrence, Haverhill and Lowell communities. Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN)
RAINN is an organization dedicated to the prevention, education, and awareness and issues related to sexual assault and helping communities understand this issue but working with the entertainment industry, the media, colleges and local communities. RAINN has various programs designed to help victims such as personal speakers comprised of sexual assault survivors, friends and family members from communities all over the country. Members frequently share their personal stories with local community groups and hometown media to educate the public about this issue. RAINN also has an anonymous sexual abuse hotline in order to help provide support services for rape, sexual assault and incest victims.

The Farmer & Sons/Bethany Bereavement Center
The Farmer & Sons/Bethany Bereavement Center is a non-profit resource open to anyone in the community and is committed to continue to provide comfort and care to family and friends following the death of a loved one. This program offers support services and information regarding the coping process after dealing with a death. The center holds programs in November, May, and June that specifically deal with how to cope during the holidays, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day. The center offers numerous support groups as well as counseling to help deal with loss.

The Psychological Center
The Psychological Center has been offering substance abuse treatment for the past twenty-six years. Their services include outpatient counseling, psychopharmacology, Structured Outpatient Addiction Program (SOAP-PEOPLE!), the Recovery Center, Driver Alcohol Education (DAE), DMH and DPH Residential Housing (Women’s View, Pegasus, and Daybreak Shelter.)
