AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts
Founded in 1983, AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts is a not-for-profit, community-based health organization whose mission is to stop the HIV/AIDS epidemic by preventing new infections and optimizing the health of those already infected. Through a cooperative and mutually supportive effort between over 70 staff and hundreds of volunteers, AIDS Action seeks to assist and constructively work with people of all cultures by providing services, education, advocacy and prevention. AIDS Action accomplishes that mission by providing support services for people living with AIDS and HIV; educating the public and health professionals about how to prevent HIV transmission; and advocating for fair and effective AIDS policy at the city, state and federal levels.

Children’s Medical Security Plan (CMSP)
CMSP is a basic health insurance program offered by the Executive Office of Health and Human Services for Massachusetts children and teens under the age of 19 years who do not qualify for MassHealth. CMSP covers preventive and non-preventive outpatient care, dental services, family planning, and prescription drugs and medical equipment. It does not cover hospitalization. Depending on income, some families pay a monthly premium for CMSP coverage, while others pay no premium and most services require a small co-payment.

Health Quarters is a non-profit provider of confidential reproductive health care, prevention, and education services for low-income women, men, and teens in Northeastern Massachusetts with little or no insurance. Health Quarters provides medical and prevention services such as reproductive system medical exams, birth control and emergency contraception, cervical and breast cancer screenings, STD testing and treatment, as well as pregnancy testing and counseling. It is Health Quarters mission to provide quality, sensitive, and affordable clinical care, education and advocacy and serve the community as a trusted source of up-to-date and accurate information on reproductive and sexual health through its educational programs.

MassHealth Enrollment Center
MassHealth is a public health insurance program for eligible low and medium-income residents of Massachusetts. MassHealth is the name used in Massachusetts for Medicaid and the State Children’s Health Insurance Plan (SCHIP), combined in one program. MassHealth pays for all or some of a member’s health insurance and health care services such as dental programs, home health services, and transportation services although costs may vary depending on the coverage of your plan. National Cancer Institute Information (NCI)
The National Cancer Institute coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and the families of cancer patients. The NCI supports, conducts, and coordinates research project conducted by universities, hospitals, research foundations, and within its own labs. The NCI website provides extensive information on cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment as well as specialists to answer any and all questions regarding cancer.
