Daybreak Shelter (The Psychological Center)
The Daybreak Shelter is a 30-day emergency transitional housing shelter that is dedicated to the care of indigent, homeless men and women over the age of 18 including those individuals suffering from alcoholism and/or drug addiction. The primary purpose is to provide emergency services that meet the needs of the population including shelter, food, hygiene, clothing, medical attention, intervention through substance abuse treatment, education, and many other helpful services through affiliations with a vast network of agencies. Daybreak is a 30-bed “wet shelter”, one of three in the Commonwealth, which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Emmaus, Inc. is a non-profit corporation founded in 1985 to provide housing and services to homeless adults and families in Haverhill, MA. Over the past twenty years the agency has grown to become a significant service provider and developer of affordable housing, offering one of the most innovative and comprehensive approaches to homeless in the country. Agency services include outreach, emergency shelter, meals, counseling, case management, clinical services, substance abuse treatment, referrals, housing search, employment training, and many more. Emmaus, Inc. has assembled an extensive continuum of care that offers solutions to poverty and homelessness, as well as mission of charity and compassion.

Lazarus House, Inc. is a spiritually based organization that welcomes all in the name of God. It provides a continuum of care encompassing, but not limited to food, shelter, clothing, advocacy, job training, medical and dental care, a listening ear, a welcoming heart, the restoration of dignity and self respect to the poor and needy.
