Writing Lab for College-Level Courses

Walk-in services are available to assist students with writing assignments for all college-level courses.
The majority of professional Writing tutors are faculty members from the English Department, who are also writing instructors.
The Writing lab is designed to support students in each stage of their writing assignments, from organizing information to developing a thesis and polishing a final paper. Students also receive guidance in addressing issues such as topic refinement, idea development, purpose, coherence, and research practices. Due to limited resources, these sessions do not provide editing, proofreading, or instruction in basic grammar.
The Academic Resource & Tutoring Center cordially invites all students to drop by to meet with a Writing tutor during one of our regularly scheduled sessions. No appointment is necessary. Please remember to bring a copy of a draft of your paper along with the professor's instructions for the assignment.
