Veteran’s Services
Overview
Northern Essex Community College is committed to assisting our U.S. military veterans with navigating the educational process so they can achieve their educational and professional goals.
Whether you are a new student who has completed your service or a returning NECC student whose education was interrupted by military service, NECC’s Veteran’s Services is here to help guide you through the sometimes daunting process of deciphering educational benefits, funding resources, NECC’s application and assessment process, and prior credit and/or transfer opportunities.
The college has created a “veteran-friendly” environment that encourages veterans and their families, through a simplified step-by-step process, to explore the available educational benefits and opportunities.
