If you are interested in liberal arts and want to gain a strong humanities foundation before transferring to a four-year school, NECC’s Associate Degree in Liberal Arts is right for you. By completing NECC’s Associate Degree in Liberal Arts, you will gain solid skills in critical reading, critical thinking, research, and communications. The program is designed to give you the knowledge and ability to make sound judgments, reach reasoned conclusions, and express yourself confidently and effectively. Upon completion of the program, you will be prepared to transfer to a four-year college or university to continue your studies and pursue your desired career.

Ready to get started? It’s easy! Northern Essex has an open admissions policy, which means that if you have a high school diploma or GED/HiSet or other state-approved equivalency credential, you are eligible to enroll at NECC. Just fill out an application, attend an orientation/assessment session, and then register for classes.
