Northern Essex Community College has received Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds to assist students with covering educational expenses related to the disruption caused by the coronavirus. These funds can be used to help with expenses associated with the cost of attendance, such as tuition and fees, food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, and childcare.
Grants are available while funding lasts.
To be considered for one or more of the following resources, complete the START RIGHT application. The college will use the information you provide to determine your eligibility. The application deadline has been extended to September 14, 2021 at 8 p.m. No further extensions will be granted.
Start Right Grant
New students must be enrolled in six (6) credits or more. Eligible students will receive a $500 credit toward tuition & fees.
Fall Laptop Bookstore Credit
Bookstore credit to purchase a laptop that meets the requirements of your current program. The full cost of the laptop might not be covered. Click here for more information.
Evaluation of foreign high school diploma or college transcript.
Support for Educational Expenses
Assistance with paying current tuition & fees for the Summer and/or Fall 2021 semester(s), books, course materials, Internet, food, living expenses, etc.
