Campus Classic 5k and Fun Run
Join us for this year’s event on May 6, 2017!
The NECC Campus Classic 5K and Fun Run has something for everyone. Participants can run or walk the USATF certified 5K course through NECC’s picaresque Haverhill Campus and surrounding neighborhoods or cheer on their friends as they race to the finish line. We also offer a Fun Run for children ages 12 and under on our track.
Next Campus Classic and Fun Run Date: May 6, 2017
Location: Northern Essex Community College’s Haverhill Campus, 100 Elliott St., Haverhill, MA (directions)
Race Time: The Fun Run begins at 9:00 a.m. and the 5k begins at 10:00 a.m.
Race Course: 5K USATF certified course. Fun Run features age-appropriate distances on the NECC track.
Walkers Welcome: No walking awards.
T-shirts: To the first 200 registrants of the 5k.
5K Entry Fee: NECC student fee: $18 (must be a current student to receive this rate); registration fee: $25 through April 30; late registration fee: $30 from May 1, 2017 through day of race.
Fun Run Entry Fee: $10 before April 30; register onsite on race day for $15. Learn more.
Race Timing: This event will be timed by Bay State Race Services.
Awards: Top three male and female overall plus top three in age divisions: under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. All Fun Run participants will receive an award.
If you are a proud college graduate or current student, you are encouraged to wear apparel from your college as you run or walk.
