Program Snapshot

  • The Music Pathway prepares students to graduate with an associate’s degree and transfer to a bachelor’s degree program in music.
  • This Pathway is for students in the General Studies, Music. Music Technology has similar course requirements, with additional math and technical coursework.
  • Many Music students transfer to UMass-Lowell and other area schools.
  • Alumni of NECC’s Music program have succeeded as Arts Managers, performing musicians, composers and teachers.
  • Internships are encouraged and are available by taking COP110 – Internship Education.

  • Milestone courses are the most important program courses or are courses that meet the Core Academic Skills requirement for graduation.
