We hope you will join us for the virtual commencement ceremony on Saturday, August 8 at 11 am. The ceremony will be streamed on the college’s Facebook and HC Media’s Facebook page and also on HC Media’s Channel 99.

While it’s being offered virtually, the ceremony will include many traditional elements. Early Childhood Education Graduate Emily Forisso of Haverhill will open the ceremony with a beautiful rendition of the national anthem. Graduates will also enjoy remarks by student speaker Rosanna Lara, a Public Health major from Lawrence; featured speaker Rosalin Acosta, Massachusetts secretary of labor; and NECC President Lane Glenn. And, we will announce the recipient of the college’s Social Justice Award and the Gift from the Class of 2020.

It was very important that each graduate be recognized individually during the virtual ceremony. To achieve that goal, HC Media is creating a slide show which will display a personalized virtual diploma along with a photo of each graduate.

Please send us a portrait size photo that’s at least 1000 pixels x 1000 pixels. A photo taken on your smart phone in high definition should work well. Please submit to and name the jpeg file as follows: your last name, your first name, the program you are graduating from. Please include the name of the file in the subject line of your email when you submit.

Thank you, and we look forward to recognizing you on August 8!
