As a member of NECC’s alumni community, our door is always open to you, and we have services you can utilize to help you succeed.

Career Services

Whether you are looking for your first job, advancing your career, or seeking professional insight from experts in your field, we can help.

Recent alumni (0-5 years out) can contact the Career Services department to take advantage of the following benefits:

• Cover letter and resume review
• Career exploration
• Job search assistance, including LinkedIn and interview preparation

Has it been longer than five years? If so, we can provide you with continued career-related support and services in partnership with MassHire of the Merrimack Valley. To book your NECC Alumni Career Services appointment, please contact Maria Pichardo at mpichardo@masshiremvcc.com. Maria will talk with you about the many services the MassHire Career Center offers, and work closely with you to take the next steps in your job search. Don’t forget to mention that you are an alumna/us of NECC!

All NECC Alumni are able to create a Handshake account and request a connection to Northern Essex Community College for access to job opportunities.

Discounts on Noncredit Programs

Request an Alumni ID 

Looking for your next read? Working on a project that requires a computer? An Alumni ID card will serve as your NECC library card, and give you access to the open Computer Labs. Click here to request your ID today.

Facilities Usage & Rental

NECC has a variety of space options available for your next meeting or special event. NECC Alumni will receive a 20% discount on any space rental. Learn more about facilities rental and usage here.

Fitness Center Access

Alumni are able to purchase a discounted membership to NECC’s Fitness Center located in the D Building on the Haverhill Campus. Click here to view the Fitness Center’s hours and membership application.
