Giving to NECC

Your Support Makes a Difference

When you donate to Northern Essex Community College, you are making a difference in our students’ lives today, and having a positive impact on our communities for tomorrow.

With only about 35% of our funding coming from state support, that leaves a large gap that we need to make up to provide our students with the best learning experience possible. With your support, we can grant scholarships that help students pay for courses and books, provide essential upgrades to labs and other learning environments, and offer life-changing opportunities such as studying abroad to round out our students’ education.

We need your help, and we appreciate your support. Every gift matters, whether large or small, and every gift has an immediate – and long term – impact on our students and our communities. Please help us prepare the next generation of graduates that work in our hospitals and doctor’s offices, our schools, our courts, and our businesses.

There are Several Opportunities for Giving

The college’s annual fund, the NECC Fund, provides much-needed scholarship awards to students as well as program grants to faculty and staff that enhance classroom learning. You can make your gift securely online

Help Our Students by Giving to the NECC Student Emergency Fund

The Coronavirus has changed the world as we know it. Here at NECC we are continuing to provide education and services for our students. While our methods have changed and we are now offering remote learning and other services, we remain devoted to our students’ success.

This pandemic has highlighted the digital divide and created additional issues for those that live paycheck to paycheck like so many of our students. We want to be able to provide them with the assistance they need to be able to continue their studies.

By making a donation to the NECC Student Emergency Fund, you can help our students continue their education, stay on track, and achieve their goals.

Women of NECC

Women of NECC

By supporting the Women of NECC, you are joining a dedicated group of women from the region who are helping our students improve their lives through education. Each year, the Women of NECC host fundraising events, including a membership tea and an open house. Your membership dues help provide scholarships for our students. MORE about 'Women of NECC'.

Named Scholarships

For a donation of $500+ you can create a scholarship in memory of a loved one. The gifts are received in one fiscal year, and paid out to a student in the following fiscal/academic year.

Endowed Scholarships

If you are interested in creating a more permanent scholarship, you can establish an endowed scholarship. Endowed scholarships are professional invested and managed, with the generated interest providing an annual scholarship of at least $500.  If you are interested in a named or established scholarship, please contact Allison Dolan-Wilson, Vice President for Institutional Advancement at 978-556-3624.
