Are We There Yet?” by Dianne Pappas, Is the First Show of the New Decade in the Northern Essex Community College

Three glass and plastic monuments, two are brown swirls in clear glass, another one is solid light pink. All have rounded edges, smooth surfaces, with two oblong holes cut out in the center.Three different types of monuments in the exhibit

Pappas has worked in the Linda Hummel-Shea Gallery since the beginning of January creating this unique and original installation within the space. She uses the signature materials of much of her previous works, including plaster, cement, corrugated metal, plastic, and twine, among others.

The exhibit opens on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, and runs through February 28. The art exhibit is in the ArtSpace  located in the Harold Bentley Library on the Haverhill campus, 100 Elliott St.

This exhibit is free and open to the public during library hours, which are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 9:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

A reception and artist talk will be held Thursday, February 6 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
