October 4, 2021, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Event Navigation
Hispanic Heritage Month marks the independence of several Latin nations spanning from Mexico all the way down to Chile. Many of whom achieved their independence from mid-September through mid-October. This workshop celebrates the music of several Latin nations, discusses the impact racism has had in Latin America and actionable tips to help end colorism within the Latinx communities. We will highlight some lesser-known “Heroes of Latin America” who have made monumental contributions not just in their nation, but also around the world.
