Get Trained to be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) With a FREE Program for English Language Learners

Come to an Info Session to learn more about the free Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certificate Training Program. This program:

  • Begins January 2020
  • Runs for 12 weeks for 25 hours per week
  • Is offered Monday – Friday days on the Lawrence Campus

Upon completion, you will earn Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA), CPR certification, and dementia training. You will also learn about career pathways in the health field, and gain clinical experience.

The Nursing Assistant Certificate (CNA) training program prepares English Language Learners for:

  • College and career pathways in Nursing
  • Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA)
  • Home Health Aide Certificate
  • Internship Experience
  • Success in community college

About Our Professional Development Certificate Programs

Northern Essex Community College offers high-quality, noncredit courses and certificate programs taught by professionals with extensive real-world experience.
Courses are offered days, evenings, and weekends, in classrooms and online, and can also be customized for your workplace and brought on-site.

Professional Development Certificate Programs are designed to enhance the skills, knowledge, and careers of individuals working in a wide variety of occupations.

More Information

Intermediate English language assessment, physical examination, immunization, CORI documentation, and high school diploma or GED/HiSET are required for admission. Transportation and childcare vouchers are available.
