Join Student Affairs Staff For Our Hispanic Heritage Month Courageous Conversation!

Join Dr. Jennifer V. Mezquita, Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs, Monzerrath M. Stark-Magana, Director of Recruitment and Admission, Josselyn K. Guzman, Assistant Director of PK-12 Partnerships (Early College), and Stephanie Haskell, Coordinator of Student Activities for a Courageous Conversation around Hispanic Heritage Month.

Courageous Conversations at NECC are dialogues in which participants commit to engaging each other with honesty, open-mindedness, and vulnerability; to listen deeply to better understand each other’s perspective, and to sustain the conversation when it gets uncomfortable or diverted. Ground rules will be set prior to the start of the conversation and all participants will be asked to agree to the rules set by the participants. Students who participate in this event will be mailed a free Courageous Conversations t-shirt.
