An invitation to the NECC community to a Know Your Rights (KYR) presentation designed specifically for our immigrant and refugee community members during this time of increased immigration policy enforcement in Massachusetts.
This KYR session will be hosted by Susan Church, Esq., Chief Operating Officer of the Commonwealth’s Office for Refugees and Immigrants (ORI) and a former immigration attorney with over 25 years of legal experience. Ms. Church will lead this important session, offering expert insight and practical guidance.
This session will cover:
- Key rights every immigrant and refugee should know
- Best practices for interactions with immigration officers
- Legal resources available to immigrants in Massachusetts
- Where to find trustworthy Know Your Rights materials
