Attend the MA Student Advisory Council (SAC) Meeting To Learn More And Get Involved! 

The Student Advisory Council (SAC), as an intrinsic part of the academic community, is empowered to make studies, reports, and recommendations advocating for the rights, needs, and interests, and welfare of all students enrolled in public higher education within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As a deliberative and recommending body to the Board of Higher Education, it is the purpose and duty of the Student Advisory Council to maintain a forum for expressing student views and interests while fostering academic freedom, responsibility and excellence. The Student Advisory Council (SAC) is comprised of the SGA/Student Senate President and the Student Trustee from each campus, which represent 25 boards. The NECC Student Government President and the Student Trustee are the two voting members for our college at these meetings. SAC meetings are open to all MA college students at public institutions including community colleges to attend. Elections to fill the vice chair, policy chair, and public relations chair will take place at this meeting. View the SAC web page for more info.
