STEM WEEK – Math Olympics!

October 19, 2022, 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

The Mathematics Faculty of NECC is excited to host our second Math Olympics. All students currently enrolled in any math level courses are welcome to participate. Earn points, win prizes!! 

The prospective teams will participate in the 12-round ciphering contest. If a team submits the correct answer within the 3 minute time limit, it earns 20 points. Hence, 240 possible points can be scored by a team in ciphering. Team winners will be based on their total score out of a maximum 240 points. Team participants who earn top three scores on ciphering competition will earn individual prizes.

This event will be exciting and fun, and we sincerely hope that you will encourage your students to participate or simply attend to support their fellow math students. If you have any questions, please feel free to email Habib Maagoul hmaagoul@necc.mass.edu.
