Why are Local Elections Important in My Life?

April 14, 2021, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm

Join us for the Civic Reflection Series of the Center for Liberal Arts and the Center for Civic Engagement for a discussion of the importance of Local Elections. Massachusetts towns have local elections in “off-years” and these elections rarely result in large voter turnout at the polls. However, these are some of the most important elections and  can have a much greater impact in your life than Presidential, Gubernatorial or Senatorial elections. Your local school board, town meeting, and other local offices determine factors that influence you life.

Join us on Zoom on

Wednesday April 14 at 11:30am

to learn how local elections will affect you.
