We invite you to join us for Youth Mental Health First Aid® on 6/23/21 from 9 – 3:30. There are 2 hours of pre-work that must be completed by 6/21.
Youth Mental Health First Aid® is a training course that teaches how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance abuse disorders in young people. This 6-hour training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to children and adolescents (ages 6-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
This is a separate certification from MHFA.
There are limited number of seats.
Contact Sharon McManus or Kathleen Bartolini with questions.
