Narcan Training Hosted by the Human Services Program

The Human Services Program will be hosting a Narcan Training presented by Rebecca Pichardo, Trainer, Narcan & Substance Use Disorder.

Please join us on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 12:30-1:30pm in the Spurk Building, Lecture Hall A.

The training will cover the following topics:
*Risks for opioid overdose
*Recognizing the signs of an opioid overdose
*Steps of overdose response
*How to administer naloxone and perform rescue breathing
*Local good Samaritan laws and other relevant laws and policies
*A take-home naloxone kit

The training will include overdose education, local resources, plus take-home naloxone.
