Education is the foundation for success. Teachers make a difference in student’s lives, helping them to grow, develop, and reach their potential. If you are seeking a rewarding career as a teacher, Northern Essex offers three different career paths for you to choose from.

Studying for an Education Degree at NECC:

You can prepare for a career as:

  • Early Childhood Educator (working with young children and families)
  • Elementary education teacher (teaching in grades 1 to 6)
  • Or a middle or high school teacher.

All programs integrate classroom learning with practicums or field experiences that provide real-world experiences.
