If you are good in a crisis – calm, level headed, and capable of making good decisions quickly – you will thrive as paramedic. NECC’s program will teach you how to provide immediate treatment to people in need and transport them quickly to clinics, hospitals, and other emergency care centers.

NECC’s Paramedic Program meets the requirements of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the national guidelines for paramedic education. As a graduate you will be eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians exam and be able to pursue a variety of exciting career paths. With this program you will:

2020 Outcomes and Associated Information

The most current CoAEMSP Annual Report was for the calendar year 2020.

The most recent success rate for the National Registry of EMT Paramedic/State Cognitive exam, as reported in the 2020 CoAEMSP Annual Report was 50%.

The success rate for the National Registry of EMT Paramedic/State Cognitive exam was 87% for all graduates attempting the examination in fiscal year 2021.

The success rate for the National Registry of EMT Paramedic/State Cognitive exam was 90% for all graduates attempting the examination in fiscal year 2020.

The success rate for the National Registry of EMT Paramedic/State Cognitive exam was 71%, for all graduates attempting the examination in fiscal fiscal year 2019.

The most recent positive placement rate for graduates was 50%. This was a graduating class of two students. Positive placement is defined by the CoAEMSP as ‘Employed full or part-time in a related field and/or continuing his/her education and/or serving in the military’. Positive placement is measured at completion of the program.

The most recent retention rate, for the 2020 class cohort, was 18%. The retention rate for the 2020-2021 class cohort was 90%.
