The NECC Logo should be used in communications and promotional materials. The full logo is the preferred version, and should be used whenever there is room. The shield with the NECC acronym should only be used when there is not enough space for the full logo. In order to maintain brand consistency, please do not modify or alter the logo.
Please note: the logo should NEVER appear with a white box behind it. If this occurs the wrong file format has been used.
What Format Should I Use?
PNG (.png)
Best for online use. Will have a transparent background when placed on a colored background or layered on top of another image.
JPEG (.jpg)
The most well know format, JPGs are typically best for online use, not print media. It will appear with a white box behind the image if placed on anything other than a white background, so this format should NOT be used unless it is on a white background.
EPS (.eps)
Best for use in print media. It will have a transparent background when placed on a colored background or layered on top of another image. A benefit to its use is that it will never appear to have a jagged edge (i.e. pixelated) in its use at any size. An eps should always be used if the logo is to be reproduced at very large size. Please note that EPS files cannot generally be used with Microsoft Office programs.
