Preparation Course for the Communication & Literacy Skills Test (CLST) of the MTEL

Prepare for the Communication and Literacy Skills Test (CLST), one of the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) tests. The CLST is required for licensure as a teacher or educational administrator in Massachusetts and is required for students transferring to teacher education programs at four-year colleges. You’ll feel more confident after completing this overview of the test, intensive review of skills assessed by the test, taking sample tests, and learning test-taking strategies.

Participants also receive a custom test study guide, personalized feedback on writing samples, and instructor support between classes via email. Note that this course provides a rigorous review of skills required to pass the test, rather than actual skill development.
