NECC Offers Free College Prep Program

Anyone interested in attending college in the fall is invited to attend NECC’s Summer Bridge Program, a free eight-week program, designed to help students prepare for college.

Offered Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. at NECC Riverwalk in Lawrence, the grant-funded program will cover academic skills building in math, reading, and writing, college success skills, and career exploration.  GED recipients as well as high school graduates are welcome.

The program will begin July 6 and run through August 22nd.  Anyone interested in learning more is invited to attend an information and registration session on Thursday, June 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. at NECC Riverwalk, 360 Merrimack St., Building 9, Entry K, 3rd floor.

The NECC Summer Bridge Program is funded by the Massachusetts College Access Program in collaboration with Middlesex Community College .
