NECC Presents Christmas Classic

NECC Professor Jim Murphy as Scrooge

Northern Essex Community College will present its 12th annual production of Charles Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol” featuring NECC faculty, staff, students, and alumni as well as their family members, in the Chester W. Hawrylciw Theater on the third floor of the Spurk Building on the Haverhill campus, 100 Elliott St., Friday, Dec. 9, at 7p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 10, at 3 and 7 p.m., and Sunday, Dec.11th at 3 p.m.

NECC theater professor Jim Murphy, who will direct the performance, will reprise the role of Ebenezer Scrooge.

Musical direction is by NECC professor Alisa Bucchierre and set design is by NECC professor Susan Sanders.

Ticket prices are $10 for general admission, $8 for students and seniors, and $6 for 6 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at MVArts.info. For more information, call Susan Sanders at 978 556-3374.

The proceeds from all the performances will benefit the Top Notch Players participation the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
