An open house for iHealth@NECC, the hybrid health care program of Northern Essex Community College, will be held Thursday, December 5, at 5:30 p.m. in the iHealth Building, 52 Franklin Street, Lawrence.

Following a group welcome which will introduce the variety of health care programs available at NECC, attendees can join a breakout session of their choosing to learn details on specific programs.

Individuals interested in a career in health care should consider attending this event which is free and open to the public.

Among the programs that will offer breakout sessions are Medical Assisting, Medical Billing, Healthcare Technician, Dental Assisting, Ophthalmic Assisting, and Medical Coding certificate programs as well as the NECC Associate of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and other programs.

Information will also be available on a variety of other NECC health care programs including Radiologic Technology, Paramedic, Sleep Technologist, and more.

iHealth Programs are currently enrolling for the January semester, which begins January 22. While some health care programs are offered in traditional in-class formats, iHealth programs are offered as hybrid programs – with students attending class one or two times each week and completing the rest of the coursework online. iHealth programs offer affordable health training, a flexible schedule, and fast completion.

For additional information on this open house, contact Linda Comeau at lcomeau@necc.mass.edu or 978-738-7408.  To learn more about health programs available at Northern Essex, visit the website.
