The “Ghetto Kids” dancers, now living in Lowell, performed at the Black Entertainment (BET) Award ceremony in 2017, wowing the audience and quickly developing a name for themselves .
Talent will also include an African fashion show, a magic show by NECC Chemistry Professor Mike Cross, Haitian interactive storytelling by NECC Professor Sheila Pierre, a guitar duet, and acapella singing.
The NECC African Student Club is open to African natives and others who share an interest in the cultures, music, foods, and politics of Africa.
