NECC Offers Classes During Semester Break

Submitted by on November 28, 2018 – 2:28 pm

Again, this year, Northern Essex Community College will offer a few dozen intensive courses during the abbreviated session between the fall and spring semesters. The annual winter intersession includes a selection of accelerated credit courses online from January 2 through January 25.

An on-campus, week-long, public speaking course is also being offered.

Northern Essex is already registering students. The winter session is open to NECC students as well as students from other colleges or universities who will be home between semesters and would like to catch-up or makeup a class or two.

Most courses are suitable for a wide range of majors and fulfill core liberal arts requirements at two-year and four-year institutions. This year’s intersession on campus courses include Cultural Anthropology, Human Nutrition and Health, Macro and Micro Economics, Introduction to Music, Introduction to Psychology, US History II, and Statistics as well as other courses. For a complete list and for additional information, visit the winter intersession page.
