Welcome to the Northern Essex Community College English as a Second Language (ESL) Curriculum web site.  This web site has been created to provide you with all the information you need as faculty and students at NECC or for anyone interested in learning about the ESL curriculum at the college. 

The purpose of the ESL curriculum is to provide ESL services in reading, writing and speaking to students whose language is not English in order to enable them to enter courses that would lead to a certificate, a career associate degree, or a transfer associate degree from Northern Essex Community College.
