Registration Information for the High School Equivalency (HSE) HiSET & GED
Test Centers and Dates
You can search for test centers near you at any time, and you can find available test dates and times online through your HiSET or GED account.
Testing is not available when the college is closed. You will be able to reschedule and not be charged an additional cost. There are a few ways to find out whether the college is closed:

Visit the homepage of the college’s website
Via the following local television stations: WBZ, WCVB, WHDH, and FOX 25
Each state may have its own requirements for testing, so be sure to check your state’s requirements before you schedule an appointment to take the test.

- CBT – Computer Based Testing is available
Requirements for HiSET & GED Retesting
HiSET Policy: A candidate can take only three versions of the same sub test in a calendar year.
GED Policy: GED has a 60-day wait period rule to retest after the third sub test.
Your High School Equivalency (HSE) Credential
To receive your official high school credential you must sign up at Diploma Sender’s website.
Your initial credential and first official transcript are free. Once you have signed up and verified your address your document will be mailed to you within 24 hours.
